Check your balls - Self-Examination for KS

Almost all men with Klinefelter's Syndrome have small underdeveloped testicles. At puberty the testes mature, enlarge and produce high levels of the hormone testosterone. In KS males this doesn’t occur to the same extent as non-KS males.

Doctors use an orchidometer to measure testicular size.

KS adult males have a testicular volume of between 1 to 4ml (about the size of a small to medium size grape).

Checking yourself for size, testicular lumps, hardness and shape is very important.
